Creating an innovative curly experience

My philosophy when creating Curly Cuts was to get the best possible training in Australia for current curly cutting that involved overseas methods. And then, follow these teachings in the salon and upskill experienced Canberra cutters. This was how we were going to get this “Curly Cuts” project off the ground and get curly cutters correctly trained in Canberra. Our team is trained to work with all curl textures, from wavy to coily.

Unfortunately, with the rise in the popularity of curly girl also comes an increase in, and confusion with, curly cutters. Many curlies have specific techniques they do and don’t want from a curly cut.

We have, in our opinion, done the best courses for curly cutting available in Australia right now for these methods. This training was to upskill our stylists in the type of cutting and styling techniques our curlies were asking for.

Curly Cuts is a salon where our customers can feel comfortable chatting with each other and sharing tips. Through conversations with each other, we gain valuable knowledge and insight that can only come from personal experience.
