These will be hands-on curly hair classes for customers, designed to help you understand, manage, and care for your curls using the latest curly tips and techniques. This new offering is a natural extension of what Curly Cuts Canberra is known for: curly hair education, curl health, personalised care, and our curl-by-curl approach.
Hands-On Curly Hair Classes in Canberra
Curly Cuts Classes are designed to be practical, supportive, and easy to follow. These are interactive learning sessions, not demonstrations — giving you the opportunity to ask questions, learn techniques, and build confidence caring for your curls at home.
Classes will run in small groups capped at just 5 people per session, allowing for individual guidance and a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
What Will Be Covered in Curly Cuts Classes?
We’ll be offering a variety of curly hair classes in Canberra, with planned topics including:
- Curly hair product techniques
- Detangling classes
- Bounce Brush education
- Senior curl care classes
- Children’s curly hair classes
- Plus more classes to be announced
There will be something for everyone, whether you’re new to curly hair or looking to refine your routine.
Private Group Curly Hair Classes
Private group sessions will also be available (minimum 5 people), making them ideal for:
- Corporate wellness days
- Girls’ or guys’ days out
- Friends wanting to learn together
These sessions will still follow the same hands-on, education-focused approach Curly Cuts Canberra is known for.
Who Are These Classes For?
Curly Cuts Classes are designed for customers only and are not for hairdressers. Our education is based on current professional curly hair training and modern curly approaches, including methods such as the Curly Girl friendly approaches. We focus on up-to-date, evolving curly techniques rather than outdated hairdressing methods, and continually refine our approach as the curly industry changes.
With so much misleading or outdated curly hair advice online, these classes provide clear, professionally informed education grounded in current training, helping customers confidently care for their curls using methods that are relevant today.
When Will Curly Cuts Classes Run?
Planned session times include:
- Saturday afternoons from 2pm
- Tuesday afternoons
